Meet the Artist

A lifelong observer of nature, creating timeless designs inspired by the beauty of the outdoors.

Hi, I'm Amy.

I believe the most meaningful designs begin with noticing.

Whether I'm photographing wildflowers on a summer walk, creating cyanotypes with real botanicals, or experimenting with botanical impressions, every collection begins with a moment outdoors. Those original pieces become the foundation for wallpaper, paper goods, and home décor designed to bring a sense of calm into everyday spaces.

Rusky Rose began from a desire to slow down and notice the beauty that often goes overlooked. What started as photographing wildflowers and experimenting with cyanotypes has grown into a collection of nature-inspired designs created to bring that same sense of peace into homes.

My hope is simple: to create timeless designs that help people bring the outdoors in.

The most meaningful designs begin by simply noticing.

Why Nature?

I believe the most beautiful designs already exist in the natural world.

These quiet details often go unnoticed, yet they're the ones that stay with us.

Through cyanotypes, botanical impressions, photography, and mixed media, I hope to preserve those fleeting moments and transform them into timeless designs that bring a sense of calm, beauty, and connection into everyday homes.

Favorite Season

Late spring, when everything begins to come back to life.

Favorite Place

Minnesota's wooded trails, prairies, and quiet lakes.

Favorite Botanical

Ferns. Their delicate forms appear again and again throughout my work.

My Purpose

Creating a Life Worth Remembering

My greatest inspiration has never been a single flower or photograph. It's the life being lived around them.

My husband and our two children have encouraged me through every collection, every late night, and every new idea. They remind me that the spaces we create become the backdrop for everyday moments that eventually become our favorite memories.

I hope my work not only brings a little more beauty into your home, but also shows my children that it's always worth pursuing something you're passionate about.
